Overview
We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Joiner to join our responsive repairs team within the social housing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and additional skills in minor plumbing and tiling. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs in occupied properties.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out joinery repairs and installations in social housing properties.
*Perform minor plumbing tasks, such as fixing leaks and replacing taps.
*Complete tiling work in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas as required.
*Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently as part of responsive repair works.
*Ensure all work meets health and safety standards and complies with regulations.
*Provide excellent customer service to tenants and maintain professionalism at all times.
Essential Requirements
*Proven experience as a Joiner within the social housing sector.
*Ability to undertake multi-trade tasks (joinery, plumbing, tiling).
*Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
*Full UK driving licence (if role requires travel).
*Own tools and PPE (if applicable).
Desirable
*Knowledge of other trades (e.g., plastering, decorating).
*NVQ or equivalent qualification in Joinery or related trade.
