Job Description:
I am seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Head of Marketing to lead my client’s marketing strategy and execution within a B2B organisation. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a robust commercial mindset, capable of aligning marketing initiatives with business objectives to enhance revenue growth, market share, and brand positioning. Please note that this role is onsite.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business goals and revenue targets. Enhance brand positioning and messaging to differentiate the company in competitive B2B markets.
*Commercial Focus: Collaborate closely with Sales and Product teams to ensure marketing campaigns generate qualified leads and support pipeline growth. Monitor ROI on marketing activities and optimise spend for maximum impact.
*Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
*Market Intelligence: Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform strategy. Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
*Digital & Content Marketing: Oversee digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email campaigns. Drive thought leadership through content creation, webinars, and industry events.
*Budget & Reporting: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost efficiency and measurable results. Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role within a B2B environment.
*Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue through marketing initiatives.
*Expertise in digital marketing, lead generation, and brand strategy.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
*Data-driven approach with proficiency in marketing analytics and CRM tools.
*Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
*Minimum 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership roles.
