Management Accountant
Based: Bury Area
Salary: up to £55k + benefits + progression & development opportunities

Role:
*Producing meaningful management information and supporting wider business with financial aspects
*Business partnering with non-finance teams, translating financials for non-finance stakeholders and improving cost control & profitability
*Calculating and posting accruals, prepayments & preparing management accounts
*Budgeting, forecasting & variance analysis with the FC & CFO
*Balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining accuracy & integrity of accounts
*Active part of new ERP system implementation as finance contact internally including data migration, testing & validating of financial processes
*Identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies & streamline processes
*Creating financial models & analysis to support decision making
*Assisting with year end audit, liaising with auditors
*Ad hoc financial projects alongside the FC & CFO
*Assisting wider finance team when required


Experience:
*ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified with at least 12 months post qual experience
*Experience in a Management Accountant role is essential
*Experience from a stock based business highly desirable
*Experience from an ERP implementation project desirable
*Commercial awareness & pro-active mindset essential
