Learning & Development Specialist (Contingent Contract)
?? Location: Flexible – On-site / Hybrid / Remote
?? Contract: January – March
?? Reporting to: Head of Organisational Capability
Our client is a forward-thinking organisation committed to building leadership capability and supporting their people through high-quality learning experiences. They are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Specialist to join their team on a short-term basis and deliver impactful training programmes that make a real difference.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering mandatory training for managers and designing additional courses to meet evolving business needs. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring your creativity and expertise to a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver mandatory training programmes, including:
*Managers’ Mental Health
*Communicating Change
*People Manager Modules
*Facilitate engaging sessions (virtual and/or in-person).
*Design and develop new courses using modern instructional design principles.
*Create online content for blended learning programmes.
*Coordinate schedules, manage attendance, and report on progress.
*Gather feedback and continuously improve training effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For
*Strong and engaging facilitation and communication skills.
*Proven experience in leadership development, mental health awareness, and change management training.
*Ability to design courses using modern instructional design principles.
*Proficiency with digital tools (MS Teams, Zoom, LMS platforms).
*Knowledge of adult learning principles and blended learning approaches.
Qualifications:
*Degree in HR, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
*Professional certifications in L&D (e.g., CIPD, ATD) preferred.
