Customer Service Advisor - Planning & Logistics Specialist
*Annual Salary: £30,000 p/annum
*Location: Hemel Hempstead
*Job Type: Full-time, Mon-Fri

We are seeking a Planning & Logistics Specialist to join our client’s Customer Services division. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of their order book and planning shop orders from input to shipment invoice cycle. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting site growth and enhancing customer service by leading logistical process improvements.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Oversee and enhance the order book management process, ensuring all sales and production orders are accurately loaded into Javelin (MRP) and acknowledgements are sent via customer demand portals.
*Plan and release shop order requirements in accordance with MRP and/or level scheduling requirements.
*Compile production documentation for the shop floor, including job cards, customer drawings/specs, and other necessary documents.
*Proactively track and update production work orders according to the latest schedule changes.
*Assist the Customer Service Lead in creating dispatch documentation such as delivery notes, invoices, certificates of conformity, and customer shipping documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience of the Aerospace industry
*A good standard of general education.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
*Strong organisational and communication skills.
*Customer-oriented service approach.
*Good working knowledge of MRP/Production control systems.
*Experience in production-related administration, with a strong understanding of accuracy, traceability, and accountability.
*Commercial awareness and professionalism.
*Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is preferred.
*Ability to prioritise in a busy environment, work methodically and accurately, and manage time effectively.
*Ability to work under pressure and maintain a flexible approach to meet changing business demands.
