HLTA – Part-Time (3 Days per Week) – Long-Term Role Starting January
Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and inclusive primary school? We have an exciting opportunity for a long-term position, working three days per week from January 2026, with the potential to become permanent. This role is to relieve class teachers for PPA time.
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you play a pivotal role in driving pupil progress and supporting high-quality teaching and learning. HLTA responsibilities go beyond classroom assistance—you lead lessons, deliver targeted interventions, and provide essential support to teachers, ensuring continuity and excellence in education. By fostering an inclusive, engaging environment, you help pupils build confidence, achieve their potential, and develop a love for learning. Your adaptability, leadership, and commitment make you a cornerstone of the school community, bridging the gap between teaching and support to create lasting impact.
About the Role:
*Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2.
*Deliver planned lessons and interventions in line with school objectives.
*Work closely with teachers to raise attainment and ensure pupil progress.
*Foster a positive, engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive.
