Tap Room Manager
Location: Reigate
Pay: £14.00 – £14.50 per hour
Hours: Rota-based, including evenings/weekends
We are working with a thriving independent brewery to recruit an experienced Tap Room Manager for their Reigate sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and hands-on hospitality professional who can lead a team, deliver exceptional service, and help drive the continued growth of a popular tap room environment.
Key Responsibilities of Tap Room Manager
*Full venue management across two sites, ensuring consistent quality and customer experience
*Managing staff rotas, recruitment, training, and ongoing team development
*Stock management, including conducting stock checks, and maintaining accurate records
*Involvement in beer selection and contributing to weekly decision-making meetings
*Liaising closely with the brewer regarding products and upcoming releases
*Generating ideas and supporting the planning and execution of events
*Ensuring venues remain clean, safe, and fully compliant with health & safety standards
*Supporting community initiatives and strengthening local relationships
*Managing escalated customer issues professionally and efficiently
*Handling maintenance issues and coordinating necessary repairs
The Person
*Proven managerial or supervisory experience within hospitality
*Excellent customer service skills
*Hands on approach
*Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and support a team
*Some financial awareness (e.g., stock, costs, basic reporting)
*A genuine interest or passion for craft beer is highly desirable
*Confident, organised, and proactive with the ability to work independently
