Conveyancing Paralegal / Legal Assistant

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
Are you an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity in a well-established law firm? Due to an increase in workload, our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented legal professional to support its growing Conveyancing team in Henley-on-Thames.
The Role:
As a Conveyancing Paralegal / Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting solicitors with a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, ensuring smooth transactions from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
? Supporting Conveyancing Solicitors with all aspects of property transactions
? Handling pre and post-completion tasks, including:
*Registering transactions with HM Land Registry
*Paying stamp duty to HMRC
*Serving notices to landlords
*Managing requisitions and file closures
? Preparing legal correspondence and documentation
? Liaising with clients, estate agents and other legal professionals
? Managing file administration, scanning and archiving
About You:
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in conveyancing, ideally within pre- or post-completion processes. This role would suit:
? A Conveyancing Paralegal, Legal Assistant, or Post-Completion Assistant looking to develop their career
? A Legal Secretary with experience in property transactions
? A Solicitor or Legal Executive with previous conveyancing exposure seeking a supporting role
The Offer:
Competitive salary - £25,000 to £35,000 (dependent on experience)
Location - Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire
