I am currently partnering with a long standing and reputable client who is currently experiencing a period of significant growth and is seeking a Technical Field Sales Representative to support their markets in the UK and EU. This role is ideal for someone with a proven background in technical sales, preferably within a engineering or foundry environment. As a Field Sales Representative, you will guide prospective clients through the entire sales journey, from lead generation to conversion into long-term business partners. Day-to-day of the role:
*Utilise sales techniques such as visits, cold calling, and presentations to convert prospects into successful customers.
*Research and forecast sales trends, develop effective sales strategies, and evaluate their success.
*Regularly visit customers to assess their needs and preferences.
*Strive to meet individual and team sales targets.
*Monitor competitors, their products, and marketing strategies.
*Represent the organisation during customer meetings and presentations.
*Maintain customer accounts and keep detailed records of sales activities.
*Provide management with feedback and reports based on collected financial data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*At least 2 years of proven history in a National Sales / Field Sales role.
*Must be a driver with a full UK driving licence
*Proven experience within a technical role within an engineering or foundry background
*Must be prepared to travel within the UK and EU (mainly UK based travel)
