Newstaff Employment Services is excited to offer the opportunity for a Paralegal / Secretary (Conveyancing) to join a thriving team.
This role is tailored for individuals who are passionate about property law and have a keen interest in supporting conveyancing processes.
As a Paralegal / Secretary in Conveyancing, you will provide vital support to solicitors and clients throughout the property transaction process. Your responsibilities will include drafting documents, managing correspondence, and ensuring all paperwork is processed accurately and promptly. Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are crucial in this role, as you will be managing multiple cases simultaneously and liaising with various stakeholders, including clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders.

Responsibilities *Assist solicitors in the preparation and drafting of conveyancing documents, including contracts and transfer deeds.
*Manage client files and maintain meticulous records throughout the conveyancing process.
*Communicate with clients, estate agents, and other parties involved in transactions.
*Conduct legal research and gather necessary documentation to support cases.
*Coordinate appointments, meetings, and deadlines effectively.
*Ensure compliance with legal protocols and maintain confidentiality.
*Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed.
Requirements
*Experience as a Paralegal, Legal Secretary, or in a similar role within the conveyancing field.
*Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
*Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative environment.
*A relevant legal qualification or certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
