Contract: Initial 6-week contract with potential for permanent position
Pay: £14 per hour (paid weekly)
Location: Stowmarket
Shift Patterns Available:
*06:30 – 14:00
*08:00 – 16:00
*11:00 – 19:00
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a well-regarded school in Stowmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic maintenance skills who takes pride in keeping facilities safe, clean, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out general site maintenance and repairs
*Ensure the school premises are safe, secure, and well-presented
*Support with upkeep of grounds and buildings
*Use the Evri job management system to track and complete tasks
*Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
Requirements
*Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role preferred
*Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
*Basic knowledge of repairs and general upkeep
*Flexibility to work different shift patterns
