Job title: Operative
Location: Ashford
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £25,000-£26,000
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am-5pm with an early finish on Fridays!
Role Overview:
We are seeking TWO Operatives to join our client’s team. Working for a business who is a specialist in their field, in this role you will be working in a supportive team inspecting and analysing the finish product.
Key Responsibilities:
*Inspect finished products thoroughly to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from damage or defects.
*Identify and report any issues or irregularities to management promptly, ensuring corrective actions can be taken.
*Perform basic quality checks throughout the production process to maintain consistency and accuracy.
*Pack and prepare products for dispatch, ensuring items are securely packaged and labelled correctly.
*Maintain accurate records of inspections, issues, and completed work for traceability and compliance.
*Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For:
*Someone with previous experience in either production, assembly, warehouse or quality control would be desirable.
*Someone with a good eye for detail.
