Job Title: Machine Operative
Location: Outskirts of Ashford (own transport required due to location)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £12.79 per hour
Working Hours:
*Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:45pm, Friday: 8:00am – 4:15pm
*OR 4 days a week 6am – 5:45pm
Benefits:

*Up to 28 days annual leave

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Machine Operative to join our team. In this role, you will operating saws and machinery to cut wood. This position involves manual handling and heavy lifting, so physical fitness is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Using saws and machinery to cut wood.
*Ensure all items are produced to a high standard of quality and safety.
*Work efficiently to meet production targets.
What We’re Looking For:
*Comfortable with physical, hands-on work and able to lift up to 25kg.
*Previous experience in assembly, production, woodworking, or general labouring is advantageous.
*Safety boots and hi-vis clothing are required.
