Job Title: Assembly Operative
Location: Outskirts of Ashford (own transport required due to location)
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: £12.79 per hour, plus overtime available paid at higher rates!
Working Hours:
*Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:45pm
*Friday: 8:00am – 4:15pm

Role Overview:

We are seeking an Assembly Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be assembling a range of wooden garden products, including fencing, fence panels, garden gates and entrance gates. This position involves manual handling and heavy lifting, so physical fitness is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assemble wooden products using handheld tools, machinery and nail guns.
*Ensure all items are produced to a high standard of quality and safety.
*Work efficiently to meet production targets.
What We’re Looking For:
*Comfortable with physical, hands-on work and able to lift up to 25kg.
*Previous experience in assembly, production, woodworking, or general labouring is advantageous.
*Safety boots and hi-vis clothing are required.
