Job Description:
Reed in Teesside are seeking an enthusiastic Office Administrator to join a small friendly team in Middlesbrough for a January 2026 start date. This role is ideal for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills, who can effectively manage their own workload while being an integral part of our team. With a focus on administrative duties, lettings support, maintenance coordination, and compliance, this position offers a varied and engaging work environment.

Duties include:
*Answer office phones and direct calls to the appropriate staff member.
*Greet visitors as the first point of contact.
*Handle incoming and outgoing letters and parcels.
*Respond to inquiries from tenants and prospective tenants.
*Take and process card payments and maintain accurate financial records of rents received.
*Respond to enquiries via email, phone, and in person.
*Cover viewings if the lettings team are short-staffed.
*Follow up on viewings and provide feedback to the Office Manager.
*Maintain the lettings enquiry sheet.
*Distribute contracts.
*Carry out right to rent checks.
*Maintain accurate spreadsheets relating to tenants, lettings, and properties.
*Process tenant details and rent charges on the internal system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*A minimum of 2 years administrative experience.
*Excellent customer service and communication skills.
*Ability to manage own workload and work within a team.
*Computer literate with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
*Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
