Job Description:
Are you an experienced business management professional looking for a senior role at the heart of executive leadership? This Business Manager job offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO and Executive Committee of a dynamic, values-led organisation, ensuring strategic priorities and governance are delivered with precision.
As Business Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling the CEO’s office to operate with focus and discipline. This is a hands-on position that combines governance oversight, executive support, and strategic coordination—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment.
What You’ll Do *Lead and manage governance activities for the CEO and Executive Committee, including planning, agendas, and documentation.
*Oversee preparation and quality assurance of Board and Exco papers, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
*Track and coordinate CEO priorities, translating them into actionable workstreams and monitoring progress.
*Act as a key interface for CEO communications and stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally.
*Support strategic projects and organisational alignment initiatives across leadership teams.
Business Manager Requirements *Essential: *Senior business management experience within a regulated or complex organisation (ideally financial services or professional services).
*Proven track record in executive-level governance, including Board/Exco documentation and action tracking.
*Strong understanding of strategic project coordination and business planning.
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for senior audiences.
*High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
*Desirable: *Experience in wealth management or financial planning.
*Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based collaboration tools.

Business Manager Benefits *Salary of circa £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
*Company benefits include: 28 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (this will increase with each year of service up to a maximum of 30 days), plus following successful completion of probation period: group life assurance (4 x basic annual salary), income protection, private medical insurance, healthcare cash plan, pension contributions and discretionary bonus scheme
*Permanent position with national remit.
*Remote working with travel as required.
*Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and influence strategic outcomes.
Location This role is remote-based, but candidates should be prepared for occasional national travel.
