Production Liaison Coordinator
*Job Type: Full-time
*Location: Kingston
*Salary: c £40,000
We are seeking a Production Liaison Coordinator to join our client’s team. This role is crucial for managing issues and escalations within their production process. Unlike standard client communications, which are handled by our Client Services Exec, this position focuses solely on resolving issues by liaising directly with our factory and internal departments to ensure effective solutions.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Receive and log issues raised by clients, sales, or project teams.
*Gather all necessary information such as photos, drawings, and context to present issues clearly to the factory.
*Relentlessly chase and escalate until a resolution is confirmed.
*Keep internal teams informed of progress, expected timelines, and any potential risks.
*Maintain an issue tracker and circulate weekly updates to relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Demonstrated ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a manufacturing, joinery, construction, or interiors setting.
*Thick-skinned and resilient, not afraid to challenge or chase for answers.
*Strong communication skills, able to convey information clearly and concisely with factories and suppliers.
*Highly organised with strong follow-through capabilities.
*Calm under pressure and confident in dealing with demanding clients and tight timelines.
*Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or related industry is beneficial.
Personality Traits:
*Does not get flustered easily and owns problems until they are resolved.
*Assertive yet professional in handling issues.
