ACRO Criminal Records Office is seeking a HR Administrative Assistant to join our ACRO HR Team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, customer-focused administrative support across a range of People Services activities. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate data management, and efficient HR processes for ACRO staff.
This is an initial 3-month contract with high likelihood of extension based in the Fareham area and the role will be based in the office. The pay rate for the role is £12.56 per hour plus holiday pay and benefits, the successful candidate will need to undergo the relevant vetting.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver excellent customer service by responding to calls, emails, and face-to-face enquiries.
*Maintain accurate People Services data and records in line with GDPR and audit requirements.
*Support onboarding and leaver processes.
*Draft HR documentation, including contractual variation letters.
*Assist with recruitment administration and coordination.
*Produce management information reports using data from manual and digital systems.
*Provide administrative support for casework, change management, and Learning & Development.
*Maintain competence in HR systems and assist colleagues and customers in their use.
*Ensure compliance with Constabulary policies and procedures.
