Job Description:
Quantity Surveyor
Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to collaborate on a significant utility project located in the London Docklands. This role involves working on a high-voltage (HV) energy project, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in NEC4 contracts and utility project delivery.
Key Responsibilities *Manage and control all aspects of contractual and financial management for the project.
*Oversee procurement processes and manage the supply chain effectively.
*Prepare and manage cost value reconciliations (CVRs).
*Provide accurate and timely reporting on project financials.
*Implement change control procedures and manage variations.
*Work collaboratively with contractors to ensure project delivery.
*Conduct site visits 2-3 days a week as required by the project schedule.
Job Requirements *Experience with NEC4 contract management.
*Post Contractualy knowledge
*Familiarity with high-voltage (HV) energy projects.
*Understanding of contractor side delivery including supply chain management and procurement.
*Proficiency in preparing and managing cost value reconciliations (CVRs).
*Excellent reporting and financial management skills.
*Strong organisational and communication abilities.
*Capability to work on-site in London Docklands for 2-3 days per week.
