Job Description:
We are recruiting for a great new role for our client based in Norwich who are looking for an Administration Assistant. The company have been established for over 40 years and are a very successful company. The environment is fast paced and there will be much to learn with this friendly team where full training will be given. We can accept part time applications for this role.
The role
*Managing administrative day to day duties i.e. filling, scanning, organising post, ordering stationery, taking card payments over the phone and in person
*Processing purchase invoices, cross referencing those to Purchase Orders
*Providing an efficient service to both internal and external customers
*Communicating in a professional manner with internal and external customers in person, on the phone and over email
*Operating internal systems and adhering to procedures
*Issuing credits to customers
*Issuing and monitoring debits to suppliers
*Processing holiday forms, updating holiday spreadsheet
*Ad hoc admin tasks and other admin staff cover as required
Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm, with 1 hour lunch break
About you
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Processing tasks in timely manner
*Highly organised and focused individual
*"Can do" attitude
*Being able to work as a team and managing own workflow effectively without supervision
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Desirable
*Proven history of working in high paced environment
*Understanding and experience of operating sales and purchase ledger
