Job Description:
We are working with a leading organisation base in Huthwaite who are recruiting for a Compliance and Audit Administrator to join their team. Reporting into the Head of Transactional finance and compliance you will be responsible for ensuring Exceptional Service delivery whilst maintaining the highest standards of compliance. Applicants will ideally have intermediate excel skills and must be able to drive and have a car as there is travel involved in this role.
in return you will gain excellent exposure across finance and reporting and be supported through your AAT studies with practical experience to match. They offer two days working from home and the other two days will be based between Huthwaite and Barnsley.
Responsibilities include:
You will build strong knowledge of key departmental processes and support in maintaining timely and accurate completion of tasks. You will also assist in compliance projects and the ongoing completion of compliance activities.
Accounts Receivable
*Support the Billing team by managing workflow through departmental ticketing systems to ensure SLA achievement for customer onboarding and billing document production.
*Assist with statutory and internal audit requests.
*Provide support during team absence or annual leave.
*Support the accurate maintenance of Sales Ledger Master Data.
*Assist Management with KPI reporting.
Accounts Payable
*Manage and maintain emails through AP inboxes, ensuring correct sorting, filing and routing.
*Support the AP team by managing workflow through departmental ticketing systems to meet onboarding and amendment SLAs.
*Support the accurate maintenance of Purchase Ledger Master Data.
*Assist with audit requests during statutory and internal audits.
Compliance
*Support the Senior Compliance Analyst in various compliance activities, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
*Assist with management self-testing agains business controls.
*Maintain the inbound compliance mailbox to ensure effective communication and workflow.
*Support the production and distribution of GDPR bulletins.
*Support the maintenance and accuracy of control narratives.
*Assist with the management and review of organisational document management processes.
*Assist with or lead compliance projects aligned to business needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
*Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
*Strong Excel skills including V lookups and pivot tables
*Demonstrates the highest ethical and moral standards.
