Key Responsibilities
*Recover outstanding balances from closed accounts and minimise bad debt risk.
*Investigate account closures, audit final bills, and identify mitigating factors.
*Negotiate with high-risk customers using a firm yet empathetic approach.
*Audit accounts for incorrect charges and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
*Manage high-risk supplies through the Change of Occupancy process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
*Explore external data sources to support collections strategies.
Skills & Experience Required
*Minimum 3 years’ experience in a targeted credit control or debt recovery role.
*Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
