District Heating Engineer
Location: Southwark
Salary: £39,000 - £52,000 (DOE & workload)
Package: Company van with personal use, fuel card, 21 days holiday + bank holidays, excellent overtime and call-out rates
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled District Heating Engineer to join a well-established and growing team delivering high-quality heating and hot water services across Southwark. This is a local, mobile role with all jobs based within close proximity-typically just 10-20 minutes apart.
As a District Heating Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding, and upgrading district heating and domestic hot water systems within residential properties, ensuring reliable service and consistently high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
*Radiator and radiator valve replacements
*Diagnosing and resolving no heating and no hot water faults
*Installation and replacement of hot water cylinders and unvented systems (G3 training available if required)
*Replacement of 2-port and 3-port zone valves
*Cleaning strainers and system components
*General maintenance of district heating and hot water systems
Salary and Earning Potential
*£39,000 - £52,000 per annum, depending on experience and productivity
*Daily rate equivalent: £155 - £200 per day
*Overtime: £30 per additional job
*Call-out rota: Thursday-Friday, 24-hour cover (7 days)
*Excellent call-out remuneration
