I’m working with a rapidly expanding client who is looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join their team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to work across two sites in Ripon and Harrogate, contributing to high-quality, on-time project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
*Produce work to a high standard with strong attention to detail
*Measure, cut, and shape materials accurately
*Interpret and work from design plans and technical drawings
*Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working environment
*Assemble and disassemble components as required
*Collaborate with the wider team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
*Manage materials and resources safely and responsibly
Requirements
*Proven experience in metal fabrication
*Good awareness of Health & Safety practices
*Full UK driving licence (essential, due to travel between Ripon and Harrogate sites)
*Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, depending on project needs
*Self-employed status preferred but not essential
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
*Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks, including lifting materials and working in different conditions
