We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our Client in their expanding and well-regarded Finance Team.

What You’ll Be Doing:
*Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
*Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns
*Maintain the general ledger and ensure all entries are complete, accurate, and up to date
*Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
*Support month-end processes
*Liaise with accountants where needed to support workflow
What We’re Looking For:
*Proven experience as a bookkeeper within an accountancy practice
*Strong knowledge of VAT compliance and experience preparing VAT returns
*Knowledge of CIS compliance.
*Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage, Dext or equivalent)
*Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
