Assistant Finance Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting a successful and growing property business in Leeds as they recruit an ambitious Assistant Finance Manager on a 14 month fixed-term contract basis.

This is a brilliant step for a part-qualified accountant who’s ready to take on more responsibility, sharpen their technical skills, and play a visible role within a high-performing Operational Finance team.

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you’ll be right at the heart of month-end delivery, financial reporting, and process improvement.
Duties will include:
*Lead month-end journals and support the wider close process
*Produce accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations
*Oversee managing agent reporting, ensuring journals are posted efficiently and processes are continuously improved
*Prepare monthly cash reports across key business cost lines
*Support bank reconciliations and help resolve outstanding items
*Build strong partnerships with Asset colleagues and other internal teams
*Provide ad hoc support across finance and the wider business where needed
We’re Looking For:
*Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
*Strong Excel skills
*Analytical, inquisitive, and comfortable digging into detail
*Property sector experience
*Service charge exposure
*Oracle JDE (Enterprise One) knowledge
