Job Description:
Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant
*Location: Manchester
*Job Type: Permanent - Full-time

As a Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant, you will lead on environmental management integration across various sectors including Aviation, Defence, Energy, and more. Day-to-Day of the Role:
*Lead the coordination and delivery of environmental work by multi-disciplinary teams, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), options appraisals, and environmental management.
*Champion high standards of environmental performance within multidisciplinary engineering projects, influencing project development to deliver optimal environmental outcomes.
*Collate and edit information from various sources to produce clear, well-written reports.
*Manage clients’ needs confidently and professionally, maintaining good interpersonal relationships.
*Lead and support bid preparation and develop new business areas for the team.
*Undertake Continual Professional Development in line with professional institute requirements.
About You:
*Degree or Masters in an environmental or science subject, with Chartership from a relevant institution.
*Substantial post-graduate experience, preferably within a consultancy environment.
*Experience with linear infrastructure projects is beneficial.
*Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical specialisms.
*Proven leadership experience within multidisciplinary teams.
*Strong report writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
*Ability to prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
*Flexible, adaptable, and prepared to take on new challenges and work from various locations.
