Job Description:
HR Resolutions Manager (Temporary)Location: Hybrid working
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Working pattern: Three days per week in the office
This role will suit someone who can step in quickly, work confidently in a local authority environment and deliver immediate impact.
We are supporting a London local authority with the appointment of an experienced HR Resolutions Manager on a temporary basis for an initial period of three to six months.
This role will lead the HR Resolutions function, focusing on early intervention, mediation and alternative approaches to workplace conflict, while managing a small team of HR professionals and working closely with HR Business Partners.
Key Responsibilities*Lead and manage the HR Resolutions team, ensuring high quality service delivery
*Manage and oversee complex employee relations and conflict resolution cases
*Provide mediation and early resolution support across the organisation
*Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders
*Promote best practice in alternative dispute resolution and early intervention
Essential Experience*Significant experience in a senior HR advisory or HR management role
*Strong background in complex employee relations and conflict resolution
*Experience managing and leading HR teams
*Ability to operate with discretion, authority and impartiality
Desirable Experience*Local government or public sector HR experience
*Previous experience working in an HR Resolutions or mediation-focused role
*CIPD qualification (desirable but not essential)
