An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Manager to join a growing audit practice specialising in UK subsidiaries of international groups.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on leading complex audits, managing diverse stakeholders, and contributing to high-quality group reporting processes. You will play a key role in ensuring subsidiary reporting aligns with group deadlines and global standards, while also supporting the development of a high-performing audit team.

Your role as an Audit Manager:
*Travelling to client sites across the North and working from home when not on site, you will lead and oversee audit engagements from planning through to completion.
*Review and validate group reporting packages prepared by local management.
*Liaise with local and group finance teams, auditors, and key stakeholders.
*Support bridging between UK GAAP and other frameworks (IFRS, German GAAP).
*Contribute to the accuracy and consistency of consolidated group financial statements.
*Manage, mentor, and develop associates throughout the audit cycle.
*Support performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
*Ensure audit teams understand client objectives and priorities.
*Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and value-added recommendations.
*Identify opportunities to strengthen internal controls and improve operational efficiency.
What you’ll need to succeed:
*You must be ACA/ACCA/CA Qualified with post qualification experience.
*Minimum 7 years of audit experience.
*Proven experience in group reporting and consolidation.
*Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
*Confident working with finance directors, group auditors, and international stakeholders.
*Familiarity with current audit software and digital tools.
