Contract Manager – Commercial Support
Salary: £55,000–£62,000 per annum + 25% Bonus
Location: Remote/flexible hybrid options available

Are you an experienced contract management professional with a strong commercial mindset and a track record in healthcare or diagnostics? We are seeking a confident, motivated Contract Manager to join the Commercial Support Services team at a leading UK diagnostics provider.
About the Role:
As Contract Manager, you will play a key role in negotiating and managing commercial contracts, including managed service agreements with NHS customers and partner suppliers. You will support both tender and post-award phases, ensuring contracts are executed accurately and comply with procurement regulations. This is a highly customer-facing role that requires excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead contract negotiations and documentation for NHS and private sector agreements.
*Liaise with legal teams and partner suppliers to finalise contracts, including KPIs.
*Ensure compliance with procurement regulations (PCR2015, PA23).
*Monitor contract performance post-implementation, including SLA and KPI compliance.
*Support the sales and business development teams with tender responses, presentations, and competitive dialogue meetings.
*Maintain accurate records in contract management, CRM, and related systems.
*Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and working practices.
Candidate Profile:
*Minimum 3 years’ experience in a contract management role within healthcare, diagnostics (IVD).
*Proven track record in negotiating and delivering commercial contracts with NHS or partner suppliers.
*Strong understanding of Managed Service Contracts and the UK diagnostic/healthcare market.
*Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
*Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and commercial acumen.
*Educated to degree level in a life sciences or business-related discipline.
*Proficient with Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM/SAP/CLMS systems is advantageous.
*Full driving license required.
