The Role: Client Manager / Senior Manager
As a Client Manager, or Senior Manager for those with appropriate experience, you will play a key role in managing and developing client relationships while supporting the growth of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:
*Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
*Overseeing self-assessment tax returns (initially), with a view to transitioning these to the team as you focus on new client development alongside Directors.
*Handling day-to-day tax issues, with support from the tax team when required.
*Planning and allocating work across the team.
*Reviewing work completed by junior team members to ensure quality and compliance.
*Acting as a mentor to trainees, helping them develop their skills and careers.
*Building strong client relationships and working closely with Partners to grow the portfolio.
About You
We’re keen to speak with professionals currently in a management or supervisory role within an accountancy practice, responsible for a client portfolio and some staff oversight.
*Qualifications: ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
*Knowledge: Up-to-date with current accounting regulations.
*Skills: Strong leadership, client relationship management, and technical expertise.
