Finance Assistant – Full Time, Permanent
An established and growing organisation is seeking a Finance Assistant to join their busy Head Office team in Ipswich. This is a fully office-based role offering long-term career development and the opportunity to grow within a supportive finance team.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for managing both purchase and sales ledger processes from start to finish, supporting the Finance Manager in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Processing supplier invoices, setting up new accounts, and preparing payment runs
*Reconciling accounts and handling invoice queries
*Managing employee expenses and credit card reconciliations
*Setting up customer accounts, credit checking, and chasing outstanding debt
*Supporting month-end procedures and general office duties
What We’re Looking For:
*A confident communicator with strong organisational skills
*Experience in a similar finance role and good knowledge of monthly routines
*Proficiency in Excel and the ability to work independently
*Educated to A-Level standard or above, with strong numeracy and literacy
