About the Role:
We are partnering with a retail/ecommerce business undergoing significant growth and transformation. They are seeking an experienced FP&A Lead to take ownership of planning, forecasting, commercial analysis, and financial modelling across the group. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, product-driven environment and enjoys building processes and models from the ground up.
This is initially a 6-month FTC with a genuine pathway to a permanent role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proven 3 years of FP&A expeerience in a fast-paced retail, e-commerce, or product-driven environment.
* Exceptional financial modelling ability, including building complex models from scratch.
* Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with the ability to handle and interpret large data sets.
* Strong commercial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
* Confident business partner able to influence and challenge senior stakeholders across Operations, Trading, Merchandising, and Marketing.
* Clear communicator capable of presenting insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
* Process improvement mindset, able to streamline reporting, drive analytical improvements, and build scalable FP&A frameworks.
* Exposure to NetSuite is advantageous, alongside BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Adaptive/Anaplan.
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or proven equivalent FP&A track record.
