We are starting the sourcing process ahead of time to identify top talent ready to take on a pivotal role in overseeing financial accounting processes, ensuring the integrity of the Group’s general ledger, and delivering robust financial information. Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:
*Maintain the integrity of the Group’s financial information through reconciliation and financial accounting activities.
*Deliver Group financial information on a timely and accurate basis.
*Lead the production of the Group VAT return.
*Act as a role model for the Assistant Accountants and provide coaching and skills development support.
*Support the Senior Accountant with review of junior team members’ work.
*Contribute to Financial Control change agenda.
*Manage the preparation of subsidiary accounts for the group.
*Maintain effective working relationships with key internal providers.
*Drive continuous improvement within Group accounting.
*Ensure process documentation is maintained for all key processes in team.
Key essentials of the Financial Accountant: *ACA or ACCA qualified
*Proven communication and relationship-building skills
*Advanced Excel skills
