SEND Learning Support Assistant - Bromley
Location: Bromley
Type: Secondary mainstream school
Working Hours: 08:30 am - 16:00 pm.
Salary: £95 - £100 per day (PAYE or Umbrella available)
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with disabilities? One of our partner schools in Bromley are currently searching for a Secondary Learning Support Assistant to join them in January supporting a young girl with physical disabilities.
The Role
Provide Personalised Support: Work 1:1 with your student, adapting lesson materials and strategies to meet their diverse needs.
Foster Positive Behaviours: Implement proven behaviour management techniques and help students develop essential social skills.
Provide Personal Care: Support your 121 pupil with personal care needs such as toileting and feeding.
Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to monitor progress and celebrate every achievement.
What We’re Looking For
A genuine passion for working with children who have physical disabilities
Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in a special needs setting is advantageous.
A proactive team player who thrives in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of every child.
