Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Ledger professional to join a busy and supportive finance team. This is a varied role where you will manage your own portfolio of customer accounts, maintain strong client relationships and take ownership of the full sales ledger process.
What you’ll be doing:
*Managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring invoices are processed, issued and followed up in a timely manner
*Monitoring account activity, assessing credit risk and maintaining appropriate credit limits
*Building strong customer relationships to encourage timely payments and support ongoing business
*Managing overdue balances professionally, agreeing payment plans and resolving account queries
*Maintaining an organised shared inbox and supporting day to day ledger administration
*Preparing regular reports on receivables, aged debt and account performance for management
*Working closely with the wider finance team to support cashflow forecasting and minimise financial risk
*Contributing to continuous improvements within the sales ledger function
What we’re looking for:
*Previous experience in sales ledger, accounts receivable or credit control
*Strong communication skills with a confident, professional approach to customer engagement
*High level of accuracy and strong numerical ability
*Proactive problem solver with excellent organisational skills
*Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently when needed
*Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and finance systems
