Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organised and knowledgeable HR Generalist to join a professional team within the Life Sciences sector. This role, based in Cambridge, involves supporting all aspects of human resources management and ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established organisation within the Life Sciences sector. This medium-sized company is committed to fostering a structured and efficient work environment while maintaining high standards in employee management and development. You will be part of a global, wider HR team, however you will be the sole person responsible for HR within the Cambridge office, supporting circa 30 employees.
Description
*Administer and manage HR policies and procedures effectively.
*Support recruitment processes, including job postings and candidate coordination.
*Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
*Provide guidance on employee relations and performance management.
*Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR systems.
*Assist in the design and delivery of training and development programmes.
*Manage payroll and benefits administration efficiently.
*Support organisational change initiatives within the department.
*Assist with global HR projects
Profile
A successful HR Generalist should have:
*Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices
*Experience in managing recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance activities.
*Proficiency in HR systems and administrative tasks.
*Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and with a high level of accuracy.
*A relevant qualification in human resources or a related field.
*Live locally to Cambridge and able to be office based at least 3 days per week
Job Offer
*Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience
*Performance-related target bonus of 10%.
*25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
*Private healthcare coverage.
*6% pension contribution from the employer (minimum 3% employee contribution).
