Technical Manager
Plastic Injection Moulding Manufacturing
Diss Norfolk Suffolk Border
An established and well invested manufacturing business based on the Norfolk Suffolk border is recruiting an experienced Technical Manager to lead technical activity across plastic injection moulding, production and quality.
This is a senior, hands on role offering clear long term progression and succession opportunities within a stable manufacturing environment.
Salary from £50,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience, plus a strong overall package and UK relocation support available where required.
Initial conversations are welcomed before Christmas, with interviews progressing in the New Year.
The role:
*Provide technical leadership across plastic injection moulding and manufacturing operations
*Support Production and Quality teams with hands on technical expertise
*Manage technical relationships with customers, suppliers and tooling partners
*Lead process improvement, cost efficiency and continuous improvement activity
*Drive high standards of quality, efficiency and delivery performance
*Act as the senior technical authority within the business
About you:
You will be an experienced Technical Manager or senior technical professional from a plastic injection moulding or closely related manufacturing environment.
You will bring:
*Strong technical knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes
*Proven experience in a manufacturing based technical leadership role
*Confidence working both hands on and at a leadership level
*Experience working with customers, suppliers and tooling partners
*A practical, solutions focused and commercially aware approach
A degree in Engineering or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential.
