The HR Officer will play a pivotal role in supporting the Human Resources department within the Arms Length Body. This position requires expertise in HR practices, ensuring smooth operations and compliance in either London, Durham, Lytham St Anne’s or Glasgow.

Description
The organisation is currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic HR Officer to join their Human Resources team to provide a comprehensive HR function to the whole organisation.
Reporting to one of the HR Managers, you will work closely with a range of stakeholders, providing comprehensive and professional HR administration support, timely advice, information, and fit for purpose solutions across the full employee life cycle. Your duties will include:
*Supporting HR processes, including recruitment, on boarding, and employee relations.
*Ensuring compliance with employment laws and organisational policies.
*Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation.
*Providing guidance and support to staff and management on HR-related matters.
*Contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
*Processing monthly payroll information and changes
*Preparing reports and analyse HR data to support decision-making.
Profile
The successful HR Officer will have experience of working within a busy HR function and as part of a team, whilst also using own initiative, to provide a quality service. You should have previous exposure of dealing with a high level of administration/coordination including recruitment, payroll and associated queries within changing / tight time frames.
It is essential that you have previously worked with IT applications including Word, Excel and using IT systems such as HR Information Systems; Applicant Tracking Systems and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Offer
A salary of c.£34,500 (London), c.£30,000 (Durham, Lytham St Anne’s and Glasgow), alongside an excellent benefits package including access to join the Civil Service Pension Scheme and a discretionary bonus.
