Role Summary:
As an Account Handler, you’ll play a key role in supporting a varied portfolio of SME clients. Working closely with account executives and directors, you’ll handle renewals, adjustments, and broking into the market, ensuring excellent client service and strong insurer relationships. This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial risks and the chance to progress within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day client servicing, renewals, and mid-term adjustments.
• Broke risks into the insurance market, securing competitive terms and building strong insurer relationships.
• Support account executives with pipeline development and client retention.
• Contribute to team knowledge-sharing and support less experienced colleagues.
• Help shape client allocation processes as part of a supportive, evolving team structure.
Requirements:
• Experience as a SME account handler within insurance broking.
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of commercial products.
• Excellent communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
