Description
Management Accountant responsibilities include;
*Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
*Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
*Produce insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
*Monitor financial performance against KPIs and business targets
*Support statutory audit and external financial reporting processes
*Review, refine, and optimise internal reporting tools and dashboards
*Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
*Assist with cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and cost analysis
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or finalist with relevant experience
*Previous experience within a Management Accountant role
*Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
*Ability to analyse data and present information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
*Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
*Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
