Job Role - Key Stage 1 Teacher Needed
Location – Ashton-in-Makerfield
Start Date – January
Salary – From £110+ depending on experience
Are you a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a rewarding new role? We want you to join a fantastic school in Ashton-in-Makerfield who are offering a long-term, full-time role within the Year 2 class to start in January until Summer. This is a small class with Behavioural Needs and will need experience supporting with Challenging Behaviour. Team Teach is a bonus, but not essential.

Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of pupils
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and growth
*Utilise effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
*Manage pupil behaviour through established strategies and techniques
*Assess and evaluate pupil progress, providing feedback to support their development
*Maintain professional standards and adhere to QTS requirements in all teaching practices
What we require:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*At least 6 months teaching experience within the last 2 years ideally within KS2
*Enhanced DBS check on the online update service or willing to get one
*Ability to provide two professional childcare references within the last 2 years
