Quest Search & Selection is hiring a Senior Sourcing Manager own-label food range by securing optimal buying prices and product availability across the designated categories, while delivering new product sourcing opportunities in collaboration with the Category Development team. The role also focuses on strengthening supplier understanding and engagement & to unlock improvements in cost of goods, cost to serve, and range development.

Role & Responsibilities of this Senior Sourcing Manager role-
*Line management responsibility for team performance, development, coaching, and engagement.
*Delivery and management of agreed budgets with full P&L accountability for core buying areas.
*Management of cost of goods and product turnover across controlled ranges.
*Development and delivery of sourcing strategies aligned to the brand range blueprint.
*Management of existing and new products, suppliers, and supply chains.
*Leadership of cost price negotiations and timely implementation of price changes with clear stakeholder communication.
*Collaboration with suppliers, distribution centres, and category teams to unlock volume and buying efficiencies.
*Identification and onboarding of new suppliers to improve commercial terms and range opportunities.
*Proactive performance management, coaching, and development of the team, with a focus on stretch targets and talent progression.
Qualification Required for this Senior Sourcing Manager role-
*Minimum 5 years’ buying experience + in a retail or wholesale environment
*You must have experience at a manager, senior or head of level where you are leading a small team across multi categories Within food or FMCG
*Proven ownership of cost of goods within own-label categories
*Proven negotiation skills using a range of tactics and styles
*Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting complex data
*Proven influencing skills and credibility across the supply base and distribution centres
*Practical experience across production and supply chain operations
*Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
