A long-established and accredited legal practice in Middlesbrough is seeking a highly skilled Residential Conveyancer to take on the role of Residential Conveyancing Team Leader.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to play a key role in developing and shaping a growing residential property department within a reputable firm.
What We Are Looking For
*5+ years’ PQE with strong, hands-on experience across all areas of residential conveyancing
*A background in supervising, mentoring, or supporting junior team members
*Confidence in managing a high-volume caseload, ensuring files progress efficiently while maintaining exceptional client care
*The ability to support and strengthen the team’s performance, contributing to a department that handles around 100 new monthly instructions
*A commitment to upholding and contributing to the firm’s various professional accreditations and quality standards
Role Responsibilities
Residential Conveyancing to oversee and manage a diverse and active caseload, including:
*Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
*Help to Buy transactions
*Remortgages
*New build conveyancing
*Lease extensions
*Buy-to-let matter
In addition to fee-earning responsibilities, you will play a central role in managing team workflow, supporting junior colleagues, ensuring compliance, and helping to develop best practices across the department.
Department Development & Business Growth
*Take part in networking and other business development activities
*Contribute ideas and initiatives that support the continued expansion and success of the residential property team
Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping the department’s future direction and enhancing its reputation within the region.
