Installation and repair Engineer - Security Systems

We are seeking an experienced security engineer to work from a company-provided mobile vehicle, visiting residential and commercial customers.
The role includes installing and repairing CCTV and security equipment. Previous hands-on experience is essential, and any experience with fire alarms or fire safety equipment would be highly beneficial as this could be a dual role.
What You’ll Do
Install, service, and maintain intruder alarms, and CCTV systems (IP & analogue) and fire alarms if you have the experience or would consider training for.
Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on existing systems
Complete accurate reports and participate in an on-call rota
Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle
Stay up to date with technology and legislation
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in either security or fire engineering experience or both would be fantastic
Strong technical knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV
Understanding of British Standards (BS5839, BS5266)
Full UK driving licence & DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
Desirable: Qualifications such as FIA, City & Guilds, ECS/CSCS, and experience with Kentec, , Eaton, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, NSI, or BAFE standards
