About the Role As Commercial Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Commercial and Finance teams, providing insight and challenge to optimise decision-making. This is a highly commercial role, combining financial analysis with strategic input to support both short-term performance and long-term growth.
Key responsibilities include:
*Acting as a trusted partner to the Commercial team and senior stakeholders, building strong relationships and influencing decisions.
*Supporting new business tenders and coordinating briefs across Finance and Commercial.
*Leading on forecasting and reporting, including budgets, quarterly forecasts, and variance analysis.
*Preparing and presenting periodic performance reviews and financial packs.
*Analysing promotional performance and ROI, advising on commercial activity.
*Developing financial models and reporting tools, including advanced use of Power BI.
*Driving process improvements and supporting procurement and value engineering projects.
About You *ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with a strong track record in commercial finance.
*Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills and experience in Power BI.
*Commercially astute with the ability to challenge and influence decisions.
*Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage non-financial stakeholders.
*Comfortable working to tight deadlines and implementing change where needed.
