Interim Finance Consultant - Manufacturing
Duration: 6 months
Location: Stockport area (onsite initially, hybrid thereafter)
Rate/Salary: Up to £55,000 (pro-rata)
Overview
A specialist manufacturing business operating within the life sciences and pharmaceutical supply chain is seeking an Interim Finance Consultant to support the finance function during a particularly busy period. The role will provide hands-on financial support and commercial insight across operations, with exposure to international stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and ownership of monthly Profit & Loss reporting, including detailed variance analysis

* Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring accuracy and robust commentary

* Financial support to manufacturing operations, including cost control and margin analysis

* Business partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders

* Regular liaison with US-based stakeholders to support reporting and alignment

* Ad-hoc financial analysis and support during peak activity

Required Experience & Qualifications
* (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

* Proven experience within a manufacturing environment (essential)

* Strong experience in P&L management, budgeting and forecasting

* Comfortable working with senior stakeholders, including internationally

* Hands-on, adaptable and able to add value quickly in an interim role

Working Arrangements
Initially onsite to support onboarding and understanding of the business, with the opportunity to move to a hybrid working model once established.
