Pratap Partnership is seeking a Junior Buyer on behalf of our client, a well-established manufacturing & engineering company located in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with some procurement experience to develop their career within a growing organisation.

Working closely with the Senior Buyer and other stakeholders within the business, the Key responsibilities are:
*Assisting in purchasing key services and products for the business
*Building strong supplier relationships
*Evaluating supplier performance
*Researching new suppliers and identifying cost savings
*Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure the right goods and services are purchased
*Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation, using the ERP system


Ideal Candidate

*Experience in procurement or purchasing is essential although there is room to grow in the role.
*Strong organisation and communication skills
*Team-oriented with a flexible approach to working hours
*Experience in manufacturing, engineering or similar sector would be advantageous but not essential
