Product Support Specialist (Paraplanner)
Location: Remote
Salary: Salary up to £45,000
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Product Support Specialist to join a fast-growing, technology-led financial planning business. This fully remote role is ideal for an experienced paraplanner or financial planner who enjoys combining technical financial planning knowledge with technology, training and client support.
Reporting to a senior product leader, you will play a key role in driving user adoption of an innovative cashflow modelling and financial planning application, acting as the main point of contact for UK-based financial planners and advisers.
Role Overview
As Product Support Specialist, you will provide in-depth functional support to end-users, helping them model a wide range of financial planning scenarios using the platform. You will also contribute to user education through training materials, knowledge base content and live online training sessions.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as the primary point of contact for UK financial planners and advisers using the application
*Provide detailed functional support, answering queries and demonstrating how to model complex financial planning concepts
*Drive user adoption in line with the business’s mission and strategy
*Develop, maintain and enhance training programmes and support materials, including:
*Knowledge base articles
*In-app guidance and help tools
*Training and explainer videos
*Deliver online user training sessions and host webinars
*Provide ongoing user coaching, either directly or via suitable learning resources
*Capture and collate user feedback and collaborate with product and development teams to support continuous improvement
*Participate in cross-functional working groups and projects
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK financial planning concepts, tax changes and budget legislation
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
*Degree-level education or equivalent experience within financial services
*Previous experience as a Paraplanner or Financial Planner in the UK market
*Experience using cashflow modelling tools such as Voyant, CashCalc, XTools+ or IO Planning
*Financial planning qualification (Diploma, CFP, or working towards)
*Strong understanding of UK financial planning concepts
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Confident presenting and explaining complex concepts to industry professionals
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
*Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
*Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with wider teams
*High attention to detail with a willingness to learn and adapt
