Job Description:
We’re recruiting on behalf of one of our large Financial Services clients undergoing a significant post-acquisition transformation. They’re seeking an experienced and highly organised Demand & Delivery Manager to drive the execution of a Post-Acquisition Data Integration Programme.
In this pivotal role, you’ll establish and operate a single front door for all data delivery requests, build and maintain an integrated delivery plan, and provide day-to-day leadership across a multi-disciplinary team (Business Analysts, Architects, and Data Governance Specialists). This position reports into the client’s Head of Data Integration and combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
What you’ll do *Integrated Delivery Planning: Build, maintain, and actively manage a comprehensive, integrated delivery plan across data integration and delivery workstreams, aligned to programme milestones, dependencies, and strategic objectives.
*Demand Management (Single Front Door): Stand up and run the intake process for all business demands (new data feeds, enhancements, reporting), overseeing triage, initial assessment, prioritisation, and translation into actionable work packages.
*Resource Management & Allocation: Allocate and optimise resources (BAs, Architects, Data Governance Specialists) across competing workstreams; forecast needs, spot gaps, and balance utilisation.
*Day-to-Day Delivery: Oversee execution of data integration, analysis, and governance activities, ensuring adherence to programme standards, methodologies, and quality gates.
*Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders; provide clear, regular updates on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to programme leadership.
*Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks/issues impacting timelines or quality; implement mitigation and contingency plans.
*Process Optimisation: Continuously refine demand and delivery processes to improve efficiency, predictability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
What you’ll bring *8+ years’ programme/project management experience, with a strong track record across data-intensive initiatives (data integration, data warehousing, or similar).
*Proven experience establishing and running demand management processes (single front door / intake & triage).
*Demonstrable leadership of multi-disciplinary teams (BAs, Architects, Data Governance).
*Strong grounding in data integration concepts, data modelling, data governance, and data quality.
*Exceptional planning and prioritisation skills; comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams and competing demands.
*Proficiency with Agile/Waterfall delivery and tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
*Ability to navigate complex organisations and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
*Proactive problem-solver, adept at unblocking delivery and managing dependencies.
*Financial Services (insurance or broader FS) experience is highly advantageous.
This role is deemed to be inside IR35 and will require 50% onsite working
